California Court of Appeal

P. v. Golden, 072710

Affirming the judgment of conviction of a sexually violent predator committed to a state hospital for possession of child pornography by a registered sex offender because a warrantless search of his room in a maximum security state hospital was not a Fourth Amendment violation on account of the inmate's lack of an expectation of privacy in such a context.
