California Court of Appeal

Stoetzl v. State of California, 142832

Reversing a decision that current and former correctional officers working at state correctional facilities bringing a class action suit for payment for the time they spent under their employer's control before and after their work shift was controlled by federal, rather than California law as it applied to a class of unrepresented workers on account of the differing basis of their claims, but affirming it as to the other employees.
