Vera v. The Republic of Cuba, 16-1227
Reversing a district court decision in the case of a man suing Cuba for the extrajudicial killing of his father for lack of subject matter jurisdiction because Cuba was not designated as a state sponsor of terrorism at the time of the murder and, as a result, Cuba was entitled to protection under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act of 1976.
