People v. Lee, 145038
Sentence and conviction of 77 felonies, including multiple counts of grand theft, section 487(a), elder theft, section 368(d)(1), identity theft, section 530.5(a), and money laundering, section 186.10, are: 1) reversed as to four of the money laundering convictions based on insufficient evidence; 2) reversed as to the identity theft convictions because there is no evidence defendant used his victims' personal identifying information for an unlawful purpose without their consent; 3) reversed as to the two elder theft convictions because the Attorney General concedes there was insufficient evidence to support them; 4) modified as to restitution where defendant should not have to pay restitution to one set of victims, and amended to correct the amounts of certain fees; and 5) affirmed In all other respects.
