In a petition for writ of mandate and/or prohibition filed by power company defendants in a suit brought by parents of a child who suffered catastrophic injuries during a camping trip with his family to San Mateo County Memorial Park, when a 75-foot tree fell on his tent at 5:00 a.m. as he lay sleeping, the petition is denied where, when an individual pays consideration for permission to enter property for a recreational purpose, Civil Code section 846 does not apply.
