California Court of Appeal
People v. Rascon, 269000
Sentence and conviction for drug, firearm, and ammunition possession are: 1) affirmed as to conviction over defendant's arguments that the trial court admitted a confession taken in violation of Miranda v. Arizona (1966) 384 U.S. 436; and 2) modified as to sentence where one count should have been stayed because it constituted multiple punishment for a single act, but otherwise affirmed.
