In a sentencing action arising after the trial court found defendant in violation of her postrelease community supervision (PRCS) but immediately thereafter granted her Proposition 47 petition, reducing the underlying conviction to a misdemeanor, the court concluded that granting the Proposition 47 petition terminated the PRCS by operation of law and dismissed the appeal as moot.
