California Court of Appeal

Perez v. City of Westminster, 050718

In a suit brought by a police officer under investigation for police brutality, alleging violation of his rights under the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act, Gov. Code sections 3300 et seq., the trial court's finding that the removal of plaintiff from the SWAT team and the honor guard, and the failure to assign trainees to him as a field training officer did not violate the Act, is affirmed where substantial evidence amply supported the trial court's decision.
