California Court of Appeal

In re R.L., 069729

In a father and mother’s appeal from orders terminating their parental rights to their daughter, the orders terminating parental rights and freeing the child for adoption are affirmed where: 1) although the juvenile court erred when it determined that California was not the child's home state under Family Code section 3421(a), that error does not require reversal; and 2) father's claim that he did not receive proper notice of the proceedings is without merit.
