In appeal from a judgment dismissing a complaint challenging a city's enforcement of municipal ordinances that first regulated and then entirely prohibited the operation of medical marijuana dispensaries within the city's borders, after the trial court sustained a demurrer, dismissal of the complaint is affirmed where the trial court did not err in: 1) sustaining the city's demurrer to the first amended complaint; and 2) dismissing the action after medical cannabis dispensary and patient plaintiffs failed to file a second amended complaint (and failed to appear at the hearing on defendants' motion to dismiss the complaint, which took place some five months after the deadline for amending the complaint).
