Hawkins v. SunTrust Bank, 264541
In a complaint for wrongful foreclosure brought by a homeowner against a lender, the trial court's ruling that the action was barred by a South Carolina judicial foreclosure judgment is affirmed where the principle of full faith and credit of Article IV, section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, section 1913(a) of the California Code of Civil Procedure, and time honored principles of res judicata and collateral estoppel compel require such an outcome.
