Conviction for transporting methamphetamine is remanded for further proceedings where: 1) defendant is entitled to the benefits of the amendments to Health and Safety Code section 11379; and 2) defendant should have the opportunity to withdraw his plea and the People should be allowed to proceed on the original charges.
