In a suit brought by a medical lab screening company against an independent physicians association (IPA) that contracts with various health care plans to facilitate the delivery of health care services to enrollees of the plans, seeking payment for out-of-network laboratory testing services that were ordered by in-network physicians for defendant's patients, and alleging breach of implied contract, unjust enrichment, quantum meruit and common counts, the trial court's grant of summary adjudication to defendant is affirmed where there are no triable issue of material fact.
