In re A.L., 068464

In a mother's appeal from juvenile court orders terminating her parental rights to her minor children under Welfare and Institutions Code section 366.26, the orders are affirmed over challenges under the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), 25 U.S.C. section 1901 et seq., and related California statutes where: 1) although the juvenile court erred by refusing to hear testimony on the issue of active efforts at the permanency planning hearing, the court's error was harmless; and 2) the evidence was sufficient to support the juvenile court's finding that continued parental custody would likely result in serious physical or emotional damage to the minors.
