In a domestic violence action appealing the trial court's entry of a restraining order pursuant to the Domestic Violence Prevention Act, Family Code section 6200 et seq., the trial court's judgment is affirmed where: 1) defendant failed to properly move to quash service and waived his challenge to the exercise of personal jurisdiction; and 2) the trial court could properly decline to consider defendant's opposition papers submitted via fax in contravention of local court rules and any such error was harmless.
