People v. Bridgeford, F068226

Life sentence and conviction of first degree murder, Pen Code section 187, and jury findings that defendant committed the crimes while an active participant in a criminal street gang, section 186.22(b)(5), intentionally and personally discharged a firearm, section 12022.53(d), the murders furthered criminal street gang activities, section 190.2(a)(22), and he committed multiple murders, section 190.2(a)(3), are reversed where the trial court prejudicially erred when it failed to apply Maryland v. Shatzer (2010) 559 U.S. 98, in deciding his suppression motion, because the requisite 14-day break-in-custody did not occur in appellant's case.
