In a suit against a nurse-defendant for her statements to the California Nursing Board that led to an investigation of plaintiff, the trail court's grant of defendant's special anti-SLAPP motion to strike the complaint pursuant to Code Civ. Proc. section 425.16, and grant of leave to amend one cause of action for breach of contract, is reversed in part where the court had no authority to grant leave to amend the original complaint.
