California Court of Appeal

People v. Shenouda, E061954

Sentence and conviction of committing a lewd act upon a 13-year-old girl, Pen. Code section 288(a), are affirmed where: 1) the evidence was sufficient; and 2) even if the court did consider defendant's lack of remorse as a reason for choosing the middle term sentence, other reasons for imposing that sentence provided adequate, independent support for the sentence, and any error was therefore harmless.
