In a technology contract dispute to determine whether a defendant is entitled to the protection of a broad release clause contained in a settlement agreement to which the defendant is a stranger, the trial court's grant of summary judgment is reversed where, in view of ambiguities regarding the release clause and the parties' intent, the trial court erred by granting summary judgment in favor of strangers to the contract who raised the release as a defense.
