California Court of Appeal
People v. Jackio, C074019
Conviction of attempted murder and other crimes associated with a home invasion and sentence of both determinate and indeterminate terms in state prison, are affirmed over defendant's claims that his Sixth Amendment rights were violated when he elected self-representation and the trial court did not outline the possible terms of imprisonment for the various crimes and enhancements charged against him, where under the circumstances, the trial court's advisement adequately warned defendant of the risks of self-representation.
