California Court of Appeal
Velasquez v. Centrome, Inc., B247080
In a product-related personal injury action, where plaintiff alleged his lung disease was caused by workplace exposure to chemical compound, diacetyl, distributed by defendants, the trial court's judgment in favor of defendant is reversed where it erred: 1) by disclosing plaintiff's status as an undocumented immigrant to the venire of prospective jurors; and 2) in denying plaintiff's motion for mistrial.
