In this case, defendant was found guilty, but not guilty of various crimes by reason of insanity. Revocation of an order granting defendant outpatient status is affirmed, where: 1) a defendant need not be in an outpatient program prior to outpatient status being revoked; 2) the trial court should have set a status hearing in the case, but nevertheless, the error was harmless; and 3) on this record, it was not revealed that defendant suffered paranoia until the hearing in December 2012 (after the trial court entered its December 2011 order granting outpatient status), and thus, for the purposes of the trial court's findings, defendant's paranoia was new.
