People v. Jones, A140054

In this case, defendant was arrested for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and causing injury, and, following arrest, a sample of his blood was taken over his objection and without warrant. Denial of defendant's suppression motion as to the results of the chemical analysis of his blood sample is affirmed, where the decision of the United States Supreme Court in Missouri v. McNeely, rendered subsequent to defendant's arrest, does not mandate suppression of the evidence in this case.
