On remand from the California Supreme Court, conviction of defendant on numerous counts of grand theft and of making false financial statements is: 1) affirmed with respect to grand theft, where grand theft of an automobile does not encompass the theft of motorcycles and motorized dirt bikes, but defendant did not suffer prejudice from the charging of grand theft of an automobile based on the taking of motorcycles, motorized dirt bikes, and related vehicles; 2) reversed with respect to 14 counts of making false financial statements, where defendant has shown reversible error; and 3) remanded for resentencing.
