In this criminal action, defendant pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity to assault with a deadly weapon and robbery. Conviction of defendant is affirmed, where the court properly directed a verdict of sanity, as defendant failed to proffer substantial evidence from which the jury reasonable could have found the defendant was not sane.
