California Court of Appeal

People v. Rader, B247088

Defendant's convictions of one count of second degree burglary, two counts of felony theft, and two counts of forgery for paying $100 of a restaurant bill with counterfeit $20 bills, are reversed in part, where defendant can only be convicted of a single count of theft, and defendant may be convicted of felony petty theft rather than the misdemeanor charge of defrauding an innkeeper (or in this case a restaurant).
