Following defendant's guilty plea to assault with a firearm, the trial court's post-judgment order requiring defendant to pay restitution to compensate the victim for economic losses is affirmed, where: 1) the People did not waive their ability to seek direct restitution; 2) the trial court did not abuse its discretion in awarding restitution for the victim's future lost wages; and 3) defendant has not established that he received ineffective assistance of counsel.
