The trial court's order requiring post-release community supervision of defendant is affirmed, where: 1) defendant was originally sentenced in 1999 as a Three Striker to 25 years to life, but was "realigned," and sentenced to seven years four months state prison and was awarded credit for 5,690 days served; and 2) although defendant's custody credits exceed the new sentence, the Criminal Justice Realignment Act requires that persons sentenced on or after October 1, 2011, participate in post-release community supervision.
