California Court of Appeal

People v. Valencia, B245709

Judgment entered after defendant pled no contest to charges of forgery, forged prescription, and transportation and possession for sale of hydrocodone and alprazolam, is affirmed but modified, where: 1) any contention concerning inadequate presentence credits for crimes committed after October 1, 2011, is moot because defendant has served his entire sentence and is not subject to post-release supervision; and 2) the prosecutor's contention concerning inadequate fines, penalties and surcharges is not moot so the judgment is modified to impose additional fines, penalties and surcharges.
