California Court of Appeal

California Crane School, Inc. v. National Commission for Certification of Crane Operators, F063727

Judgment for defendants on plaintiffs' claims for Cartwright Antitrust Act violations, unfair competition and related business torts is: 1) reversed in part and remanded, with regard to the trial court's ruling in favor of defendants on the demurrer to the antitrust causes of action; but 2) otherwise affirmed, where there was no abuse of discretion or deprivation of a fair trial in the trial court's order limiting the trial to 10 days, and in light of the record evidence and the jury finding that neither defendants intended to interfere with plaintiffs' economic relationships, it is not reasonably probable a result more favorable to plaintiffs would have been reached had the excluded evidence been admitted.
