California Court of Appeal

Namikas v. Miller, B244685

Summary judgment for defendant-former attorneys in an action in which plaintiff alleges that defendants negligently recommended he pay his ex-wife permanent spousal support of $7,000 per month is affirmed, where the trial court did not err in determining that plaintiff had failed to establish a triable issue of material fact as to whether, in the absence of the alleged negligence, he would have obtained a more favorable judgment or settlement.
