California Court of Appeal

K.I. v. Wagner, D063822

Following an unsuccessful administrative hearing challenging the denial of local social services, but a successful writ of mandate proceeding, the trial court did not err in its award to petitioner of attorney fees, where California Welfare & Institutions Code section 10962 permits a party to recover reasonable attorney fees incurred in the writ of mandate proceeding, but not fees incurred in the administrative hearing process.
