California Court of Appeal
Gray1 CPB v. SCC Acquisitions, G047429
The trial court's denial of plaintiff's motion for postjudgment costs, which was filed after defendants paid the amount of the outstanding judgment and accrued interest with a cashier's check to plaintiff, but before the check was deposited, is affirmed, where: 1) because the cashier's check was sufficient to cover the outstanding judgment and accrued interest, it fully satisfied the judgment; 2) the judgment was fully satisfied when plaintiff accepted the cashier's check; and thus, 3) plaintiff's motion for postjudgment costs was not timely because it was not filed before the judgment was fully satisfied.
