California Court of Appeal
Brown v. American Bicycle Group, D063268
In a personal injury action arising out of a bicycle accident the cause of which plaintiff alleges was when the front fork of a bicycle failed, judgment for defendant, the designer and distributor of the bicycle fork, is affirmed, where: 1) the trial judge was not required to disclose his ownership interests in various insurance related companies, since none of those companies was a party to this case or a carrier of defendant's; and 2) there was no violation of defendant's due process right to an impartial judge.
