California Court of Appeal

In re A.C., C073242

In an appeal from the juvenile court's order sustaining a Welfare and Institutions Code, section 602(a) petition alleging that defendant-minor committed a robbery, engaged in a criminal conspiracy, and brandished an imitation firearm, the portion of the order setting a maximum confinement time when defendant-minor was released home on probation is stricken because where a juvenile court's order includes a maximum confinement term for a minor who is not removed from parental custody, the remedy is to strike the term.
