The trial court's order committing defendant as a mentally retarded person who is a danger to herself and others to California Psychiatric Transitions, a locked facility, for one year, is affirmed, where revisions to Welfare and Institutions Code section 6500 made in 2012, when defendant's commitment was extended, do not deny her equal protection under the law.
