People v. Hood, D063560

Defendant's conviction and sentence for assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and battery with serious bodily injury which included a suspended imposition of sentence for three years, a grant of formal probation, and commitment to the custody of the sheriff for 365 days is affirmed, where: 1) sufficient evidence supports the jury's verdicts finding serious bodily injury and great bodily injury; and 2) the trial court did not err in granting defendant probation.
