California Court of Appeal
Bergeron v. Boyd, A137802
Dismissal of an action for breach of contract, negligence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress against defendant, a psychologist and family court child custody evaluator, arising out of the issuance of an interim custody order that restricted plaintiff's access to her children in the underlying family court case, is affirmed, where: 1) the quasi-judicial privilege applies to immunize defendant from plaintiff's claims; and 2) the trial court did not abuse its discretion in sustaining the demurrer without leave to amend.
