California Court of Appeal
In re Edward C., A138468
The trial court's order committing defendant-juvenile to the Division of Juvenile Facilities after declaring him a ward of the juvenile court when he admitted two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child and then violated probation, is affirmed but modified, where: 1) the commitment to the DJF did not violate ex post facto principles; 2) the trial court did not abuse its discretion in committing defendant to the DJF; and 3) the probation conditions are stricken.
