Sanders v. Walsh, G047440

Judgment for plaintiff in action over allegedly defamatory statements posted online, is affirmed, where: 1) the defamatory statements were not mere opinion; 2) the trial court erred in applying collateral estoppels to the prior small claims action, but the error was harmless; 3) the trial court did not err in excluding evidence of plaintiff's prior felony conviction, which was ultimately dismissed; 4) substantial evidence supports the trial court's finding of malice; and 5) defendants waived their appeal of sanctions awarded in favor of a third party.
