Judgment denying plaintiff's petition for a writ of mandate directing defendant to reinstate her as a permanent certificated employee and award her backpay is affirmed, where: 1) the notice of non-reelection following plaintiff's first year was legally sufficient to terminate her employment for that year; 2) plaintiff was therefore a temporary employee during her second year; 3) plaintiff's notice of non-reelection following that year was effective as well; and accordingly, 4) plaintiff did not become a permanent employee.
