In re J.S., A135214

The trial court's order that defendant-juvenile be temporarily housed at the Department of Juvenile Facilities (DJF), pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 1752.16, and imposing probation conditions is: 1) reversed and remanded in part, where section 1752.16 requires a contract between the county and DJF, and because the record is devoid of evidence of such a contract, the court had no basis for concluding that section 1752.16 could be utilized in the juvenile's case; 2) reversed in part, where, although the trial court was authorized to impose conditions of probation, certain of the probation conditions are stricken or modified; and 3) otherwise affirmed.
