California Court of Appeal

In re M.P., H038640

In delinquency case, the trial court's order appointing a guardian ad litem (GAL) for the mother and denial of the request to hold a Marsden-type hearing regarding replacement of mother's appointed counsel is affirmed, where: 1) the record supports the trial court's appointment of a GAL for mother of the minor; and 2) the trial court's failure to conduct a full Marsden-type inquiry was not reversible error.
