California Court of Appeal

People v. Woodall, D062005

Trial court's order revoking defendant's probation after he failed to fulfill the terms of his drug treatment program is affirmed, where: 1) the warrant requirement is inapplicable to the arrest of a probationer; 2) under Penal Code section 1203.2, the arrest of a probationer requires probable cause to believe he or she is violating the terms of probation, as determined by a probation or police officer or by a court that receives information from the authorities to this effect; and 3) defendant's constitutional challenges to section 1203.2 and the procedures used in his case have no merit.
