The superior court properly denied plaintiff's petition for writ of mandate challenging the placement of Measure A, a 10-year 1/8 cent sales tax increase, on the November 2012 general election ballot by the County of Santa Clara, where: 1) A regularly scheduled general election for members of County's Board of Supervisors is an election that is fixed to occur during the statewide primary and general elections; and 2) plaintiff's claim that the tax was not properly on the ballot because no members of the local government's governing body were actually on the ballot fails.
