California Court of Appeal

People v. Ramos, C065059

Convictions of five counts of assault with a deadly weapon and related charges are affirmed, where: 1) defendant Maritza Ramos has forfeited the argument that she invoked her right to remain silent by failing to object on that specific ground in the trial court; and 2) any error related to the admissibility of defendant's pre-custody/pre-Miranda silence reflected by her failure to keep interview appointments with a police investigator was harmless.
