California Court of Appeal
In re A.M., C070782
Juvenile court's orders terminating mother's parental rights and denying her request for modification are affirmed, where: 1) the juvenile court did not abuse its discretion in concluding that the minor's interests in permanence and stability would not be furthered either by return to mother or by continuing a permanent plan which was less stable than adoption to allow mother time to complete additional services; 2) the juvenile court did not err in finding the Indian child exception had not been established; and 3) there was no error with respect to the procedures employed by the trial court in not pursing the option of tribal customary adoption, and any failure to include it in the assessment was harmless.
