The trial court erred in concluding that plaintiff-homeowner association's original complaint gave rise to defendant-builder's claim for equitable indemnity against the City because the plaintiff-homeowner association's original complaint against defendant-builder for violations of statutory building standards did not encompass the claim for which defendant sought indemnity from the City, so defendant-builder's claim for equitable indemnity did not accrue with the filing of the original complaint, and thus was not barred by the statute of limitations.
