California Court of Appeal
In re Madison T., D062952
Order placing juvenile Madison in foster care is affirmed, where: 1) the trial court did not abuse its discretion in allowing the social worker to testify regarding statements made by the substance abuse coordinator on the status of the mother because it was an appropriate item of evidence to rely on in making her dispositional recommendation, and it was otherwise reliable; and 2) even if the admission of the social worker's testimony had constituted error, it would not have been prejudicial, because there was substantial evidence that it was necessary to remove Madison from mother's custody.
