San Mateo Union High School Dist. v. County of San Mateo, A134543

Judgment dismissing plaintiffs' complaint alleging liability for losses to plaintiffs' investment fund that defendant managed is affirmed, where: 1) plaintiffs cannot properly state a cause of action for breach of contract; 2) defendants have public entity immunity from the remaining non-contractual causes of action; and 3) the trial court did not err by sustaining the demurrer without leave to amend where there is no reasonable possibility the defects in the first amended complaint may be cured by another amendment of plaintiffs' pleading.
